Batch update Projects or Tasks

To perform batch changes to projects and tasks, you can use the Export/Import CSV function in your web account.

In Projects, click on More and Export from the main screen to export all Open projects as a CSV file, or goto Closed Projects and click CSV Export.
– Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet editor and change the fields you want to modify.
– To change the status to Closed set the status field to 1.
– Then reimport the CSV from the Projects main screen, More button Import menu.

Make sure to keep the ‘id’ field in the CSV when you reimport, as this is what identifies a project and avoids duplicates.

In Tasks, select a list of tasks and click on the Export button / Export CSV menu. This will download a CSV with the list of tasks on screen.
– Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet editor and change the fields you want to modify.
– To filter the tasks for a given project, export All tasks as a CSV, and use the Data Filter tool of your spreadsheet editor to select the rows containing the Project field.
– Then reimport the CSV from the Projects main screen, More button Import menu.

Make sure to keep the ‘id’ field in the CSV when you reimport.
