Execute script on Form submission

When you create a new form, it gets created with the Draft status. A user can then submit the Form, and the status gets changed to submitted.

You can configure a Form Template to specify Javascript code which will be executed when a user clicks on the Submit button to submit a form.

This can be used e.g. to validate a form, or perform a specific action, like creating a new Form or Contact or Task, etc.., based on the form values submitted.

To use this option, enter any valid JavaScript code in the Execute on Submit field in the Template edit screen in the Forms web app.
