We just released a brand new version of Upvise Pro CRM version 4.3 for Amdroid. The key new features are:
- Tasks Widget for Android 3.0 or higher: its shows the list of all your tasks, you can tap on any task to view it in Upvise, and also a new task button from the widget.
- Support of Signature field: you can now sign and submit a signature from your phone as part of a Form in the Forms App. To use it, simply add a new field of type Signature in one of your Form Templates in the Web Interface
- Enhanced Log Call Manager: when you receive a phone call, if you have multiple contacts & companies with the same number, you can choose the correct one.
To get the latest version, go to Google Play on your phone and search for Upvise Pro CRM.
We have enhanced the export of custom fields in CSV files. Previously the list of custom fields was merged and written in a single cell for each record. The value of each custom field is now written in separate cells.
We just released an enhanced Forms app:
1. Signature Field Support
You can now add a new field of type Signature in your Form Template. Then use your phone or tablet to allow a customer to sign directly on the screen. The signature is captured and uploaded as part of the form data.
You can then view it on the Web Interface.
You need the latest version of Upvise client v 4.3 on Android to use this feature. It is coming in a few weeks for iPhone and Windows Phone as well.
2. Automatic current GPS Location capture with new Form
When a new form is created on the mobile, if the form contains a GPS Location field, it is automatically filled in with the current location.
There is no need to press on the field and tap the “Get GPS Location” item any more. You still have the option to update the GPS Location or view the location on a map
3. Export and Import your Form Templates:
on the Web Interface, go to Templates on the left pane, then check one or more templates, then press the Export button. It will download your templates as a simple CSV file.
To Import Form Templates, go to Templates, click on the Import button. Then copy/paste the CSV file you previously exported.
4. New Project and User field type
You can now add a Project combo box field which let you select any active project from the Projects app.
You can also add a User combo box field, which let you select any of your company users.
You can now enter the sales commission amount for an Opportunity in the Sales app, as a flat fee.
You can specify either a flat fee, or a %, or both. In the Sales Commission section in the Sales web app, the commssion is calculated as the sum of the flat fee and the % of the opportunity amount, if specified.
On the mobile, you can only view the commission figures, and not edit them. On the web, only admins and managers can edit the commissions.
We just reordered the Application Tabs on the black top bar on your web account to display the 10 most important ones first: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Notebooks, Sales, Projects, Form, Work Orders, Ideas, & Expenses.
Of course you can always access the other ones with the More link.
You can now create and add Calendar events to a Project, e.g. to link scheduled meetings or events relate to the project.
You can see the attached events in the Project view, both on your phone and on the web. And you can link an Event to a Project in the Edit Event view, on phone and web.
