We just added 4 new features when Downloading a PDF version of a Quote in the Sales Module:
1) You can now add your custom company logo. Simply upload your logo (click on the PDF Export Settings link on the left pane) in the Sale Web App.
2) Generate a Quote or Invoice. If your Quote status is marked as “Draft” (which is the default option when reating a new quote), the PDF File export has a “Quote” title. If your change your Quote status to “Confirmed” or “Closed”, the PDF export file has a “Invoice” title.
3) There is also a new Contact Header settings (in the PDF Export Setting web page). This field is defined per user (and not for your entire company, contrary to the Company header and Payment terms). This header is placed just below the company header in the PDF Export. This is useful if you have multiple sales persons.
4) You can also add custom notes to a quote item. These notes will be exported in the PDF file, below the product title. To add a note to a quote product, add a new product in a quote. Then edit the quote product (either on the phone or web) and enter some note. This can be useful when you have Quote/Invoice items which requires additional details such as a detailed job description or the number of hours billed.
